For Artists

Artist Studio Program: 

MJM&AG is accepting applications for an artist studio program starting May 30, 2025 through November 15, 2025. Three studio spaces will be available in the art gallery for successful applicants for 3 month (May 30-August 31) or 5.5 month periods (May 30-Nov. 15). This program is to support local artists in Moose Jaw and area at all stages of their practices, providing them with free spaces to work in while creating opportunities for the public to engage with artists in their studios. Successful applicants will be required to offer scheduled open studio times for the public (ie. monthly basis) for viewing and dialogue.

All inquiries are welcomed and encouraged! Please submit by email:

  • 5 – 10 images of your work

  • Cover letter, outlining:

    • Brief Artist Statement / Bio (tell us about yourself and work) 

    • Proposed Project (How will you use the space?)

    • Current Need (Why you are in need of studio space?)

    • Duration: Do you prefer 3 months or 5.5 months?

*All selected artists will need to be a member of MJM&AG.



PRIDE EXHIBITION - CALL FOR ARTIST SUBMISSIONS: 

In support of Pride Week, MJMAG is partnering with MJ Pride to present our annual PRIDE exhibition! We are inviting artists from Moose Jaw’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community to submit up to 4 works for this exhibition.

Submission deadline is May 9th from 12:00 to 4:30 pm

Exhibition dates are May 30th to August 31, 2025

An Opening Reception will be Friday, May 30th at 5:30 pm as part of MJ Pride Week celebrations!

Sales in the Gift Shop: 

Please contact our gift shop manager, Sheryl Parry or call (306) 692-4471 for inquiries regarding having your work sold in our gift shop. The gift shop features a diverse selection of art and craft by local and regional artists.


Exhibition Proposals:

Our Director/Curator actively researches artists and their work for consideration for exhibition in our gallery. If you would like your work to be considered, please forward the following:

  •  A link to your website or digital files of work

  • An artist statement or brief description of artistic concept of the work

  • A Curriculum Vitae

 Due to high volumes of submissions, we may not be able to always reply to your emails, but we will be sure to review your submission.
